Wharton County Youth Fair
** Entries can now be done online through the WCYF website**
Showing a project in the Wharton County Youth Fair is a choice made by the FFA member and their family. As Advisors of the Louise FFA, we are here to give assistance as needed and requested. It is the responsibility of the FFA member and their family to meet all eligibility requirements, deadlines, and any additional requirements set forth by the Wharton County Youth Fair.
Any projects that are housed at the Louise FFA Livestock Facility will be routinely inspected by the Advisors and recommendations will be given to the member. These will be only recommendations and it is the choice of the member and family to choose to follow any such recommendations.
Any questions regarding projects should be directed to the following Advisors overseeing that project category.
Mrs. Ross - Swine & Cattle
Mr. Wilson - Ag. Mechanics, Goats/Lambs, & Rabbits
Miss. O'Brien - Poultry
PLEASE NOTE: For each member that is showing a project at the WCYF, a parent or other adult family member MUST sign up to work a shift during the fair. The sign up is done through the WCYF webpage. If this is not done, a monetary deduction will be taken out of any proceeds awarded to the exhibitor. Sign up as soon as possible to have more choices of times and dates. Go to the "Get Involved" tab and click on the "Parent Work Rule" option.
